My name is MJ Tremblay. I’m a proud Canadian Bahamian and a lifelong dog lover. My journey into the world of pet travel began in 2020, when I adopted Foxxy—a rescue from The Bahamas Humane Society. She had been a street dog before ending up in the shelter, and while I may have changed her life by giving her a loving home, she undoubtedly changed mine more.
From the moment she joined my family, my mission was to give her the best life possible. I convinced my corporate boss to let me bring her to work, and she quickly became my constant companion. Then the pandemic hit, and lockdown meant we spent every single day together, deepening our bond even more.
When the world reopened and it was time for me to travel again, leaving my little "fox" behind was simply out of the question. We started with trips to the Out Islands, then ventured further—Canada, Costa Rica, Italy, France, the UK, and beyond. Traveling with Foxxy made every adventure richer and more memorable. However, with each return home, I faced a recurring challenge: the import permit process was a consistent source of stress.
That personal frustration became my purpose. I founded this company because I believe dogs are family, and they deserve to be part of the adventure—not left behind. My goal is to use my firsthand experience to help other pet owners make their travel to The Bahamas seamless and stress-free. I am passionate about every family and every dog I help, and I am committed to ensuring that every furry friend gets to experience the beauty of our islands.
